I bought this shoe to wear during a 3 week vacation I took in Europe. I like to have shoes that r easy to pack, comfortable to wear, and will hold up with extended wear. I bought these shoes in Sept. I wore them everyday during our trip, and will honestly and accurately tell you I walked at least 7-8 miles per day. These shoes held up great. I use orthotics so I cannot respond to an earlier comment about the insole. My orthotics fit in the shoe and in no way altered the fit or comfort. The style is great. It is now 8 months later and these shoes show no wear and tear, including the soles, and r still extremely comfortable. I am on the site preparing to buy at least one more pair, possibly two. During my browsing I felt compelled to address and earlier negative review. These shoes will not disappoint!!! I highly recommend them.

I own about 10 pairs of various Cushe shoes. These are very stylish but for me they are not the most comfortable pair that I own. That's just the way my foot is shaped. These have a flatter arch than my other pairs. That said, they still are good for wearing around town, just not my favorite for long walks. They are more stylish than my Vinyl and leather 45s, but I prefer to wear the 45s for walking or longer periods of wear.
