I live in paradise (Maui) and the boot options are slim to none here so when a handsome man invited me to visit him in Switzerland I said yes but my feet said 'what!?' I grew up in Colorado so I'm no stranger to a good boot. I wanted a pair that were pretty, tall, warm (not too warm), comfortable, very good grip, no side zipper, not too extreme but sporty, brown, waterproof and there they were. One thing I could not find was a size chart on this site.
I'm a 7.5 (mostly a 38), athletic calves with slightly wide feet and I purchased the 7 which is the perfect fit with a thin, warm sock. They are light, easy to pack and looked great with jeans as well as dresses. I did a lot of walking - the left heel rubbed for 2 days then they were a perfect fit. I am very particular and love the details.
I took a huge leap of faith by buying these boots on line sight unseen (and flying to Switzerland to visit a man I barely knew) and both were worth it. Yes, it was a wildride!
