The summary of the week with Noah and the Cushe POP OFF Tour!
Last night was wild! The Wunderbar filled up with great people who sung and danced along to the three Pop Off bands. It was nice to see Cecil from the band Born Gold who had come out to to say hi to his friends passing through town. Today we drive to Calgary for the Pop Off stop at Sled Island. Its going to be a party. There are some great artists, like Feist, who are also playing the festival. Im excited to explore the city Who knows, I might even get a pair of Cowboy boots!
Until tomorrow!

Hey!
Last night's show at Dickens Pub was incredible! The room was packed for all three bands! People in Calgary seem eager to support Canadian music. Many concert goers even bought Parlovr, Goose Hut and Hooded Fang T Shirts. The room turned into quite the dance party during Hooded Fangs set when they invited people on stage to sing along to the music. It was wild! Looking forward to Medicine Hat, the next stop on the tour! It's going to be fun to see another side of Alberta.
Until then!

Wooo!
Sled Island was great! All three of the Pop Off bands played a second show yesterday in different venues across town. As i mentioned in the last post, Calgarians seem to be very supportive of emerging local, and national canadian muisical talent. Today we travel to Medicine Hat. The drive is only three hours which should give us enough time to enjoy the city. Attached is a photo of a pop magnet hanging at the HiFi club in downtown Calgary!
Take care

Almost in Saskatoon! Yesterday's show in Medicine Hat was a lot of fun. It was supposed to have been outdoors, but was moved inside because of the rain. The show took place in the basement of the Medicine Hat legion. It was an all ages event, therefore a fair amount of teenagers came out to the show. We are about to drive from Swift Current to Saskatoon for the show at Amigos. Looking forward to visiting this town for the first time. Attached is a photo of myself with the Cushe banner.
Later!

Saskatoon treated us really well! What a fun city. I am truly looking forward to coming back to this part of the country. After completing a pleasant drive from Swift Current Sask we arrived at Amigos, a concert hall/restaurant. The staff at the venue were great, treating us to a great mexican diner and a variety of local beers. By 10pm a good crowd of local music fans had showed up, eager to check out the Pop Off bands. The night ended with another energetic Hooded Fang set. Today the tour heads down into the US for stops in Chicago and Detroit. We will be back in Montreal on Saturday the 30th. I'll have some more good stories to tell you by then. Looking forward!
